My indoor-only cat used to have fleas, now he has a flea collar and recently I've been seeing an occasional bug in his water. Today I found 3, one still alive. I would be 100% sure those are dying fleas, but I can crush them in between my fingers which is strange, also they're all around his water & food, they can't swim, so they just drown forever it seems.
Any clue what those might be? They're dark brown, longer than they are round, like 3mm long, 1mm wide, 6 legs. Is there bugs of that size, other than fleas that live on cats? I'm sure I saw them on his head months ago, before we got him the collar & stronghold pill. If they weren't soft & crushable, I would be sure they're fleas.
