I’ve read up that whenever you have to do grooming (like trimming claws or baths) that should offer treats afterward or during to you cat so that they feel rewarded for getting through it. Well that’s kind of backfired on me. My cat avoids treats like the devil now. I’ve tried switching brands and that worked for one session of claw trimming, but now it’s back to her avoiding treats. I’m at a complete loss for what to do now and I can’t just buy different types of treats only for them to lay unusable. Anyway advice would really help.
