I’ve been googling for an hour and I can’t find an answer, I’m hoping someone maybe had experience with this? I have 3 cats and they get on fine, usually ignoring each other, sometimes playing together. Two are my roommates and are around for yrs, my cat is only 1 yr. He’s normally rambunctious as a young cat should be, curious and affectionate when the mood strikes. Last night his rambunctiousness got him kicked out of my bedroom cause I needed to sleep. When I woke up this morning, I couldn’t find him at first and when I did, he was a completely different cat. Shy, nervous, his tail was all fluffed out and his heart was racing. At first I figured the three had gotten into some kind of fight so I separated them. This was hours ago and they’ve had no contact, but mine is still acting as though he’s terrified of something.... he even refused to go outside which is not normal! I checked him over for injuries, and he’s not hurt. I’m probably overthinking the hell out of this and I’m sorry this is so long, but I’m seriously concerned. He’s never behaved like this before, I can’t figure out what’s got him so scared.
TL;DR I woke up to a scared cat and I can’t figure out what the problem is
