Chicken Owners, Help

So I'm new to chickens and one was trying to hatch, but was but in an awful position so he couldn't get out. It had been about 48 hours since I got them (and a couple have already hatched) but he had already tried to hatch but got way to weak and stopped. So I used tweasers to carefully break around the shell so he could just pull through. He was so weak that I had to take him out of the shell. He pooed (which is what they are supposed to do) and it was a bit red (which is what I was told was normal) but when I checked on him a couple seconds later I saw a red puddle, I checked and it looked like blood, I could have been the poo becuase it looked kind of solidish but I'm so worried, For anyone who has helped a chicken get set free, is this normal? Should I be worried?
