I'm trying to help my grandparents with their parakeets but they're wary of my advice. Am I wrong?
They don't like the idea of giving their birds fruits and vegetables. They think it's a waste of food and money. They give the birds Hartz Bonanza Parakeet Food, which comes with fruits and vegetables in it, and think that's good enough for the birds.
When I'm around, I give them Zupreem seed. I sometimes feed them kale, lettuce, or bananas, but they won't eat any other fruits or vegetables.
