Surgery was Monday. Congenital hernia of the diaphragm that she stopped compensating for. Went without complication. She came home Wednesday and was placed in a crate. Was a little apprehensive at first, but she eventually zonked out for two days. Started perking up recently. Brought her to some friends to watch because I work odd hours, but I came by after work tonight and she’s been bouncing off the walls.
She has to stay put for another week, at least, and that seemed a lot easier when she was resting all the time. I have no where safe to put her so she can burn off energy. She’s meowing and struggling with the walls of the crate, which is a large dog crate. I was not expecting this.
