hi, so i have a kitten, she'll be a year old in april. shes really mean to me, she bites me and scratches me and she growls when i hold her. today she was annoying me a lot and she started attacking my hand and then without thinking i smacked her on her head twice. i was really angry at her in the moment. i feel so bad. im so afraid that she hates me and i hurt her and that she doesnt love me. i love her so much and i never meant to hurt her. i didnt do it that hard, but i think i really scared her. she ran away from me to the corner of my room. she sleeps in my room and her litter box is in here so she spends all of her time with me. she used to sleep close to me and lay on top of me all the time but she doesnt do that anymore. she never lets me pet her for more than a minute without biting me. she also usually sleeps on my bed but now shes sleeping on top of the shelf on my desk, its one of those basic ikea ones. am i a bad owner? should i give her away? is there anything i can do to make her love me or be nice to me? please help me.
