So, my 8 month old miniature schnauzer is suddenly afraid of our apartment's wood flooring. She refuses to get off of the sofa, and if she does it's only to jump down on a rug and then back up on the sofa again. This started on Monday, it had been fine prior to Monday. Nothing to my knowledge happened to her over the week that could potentially traumatize her to wood floors. She happily played fetch and tug of war all weekend and then monday she refuses to get down off the sofa to play. She skitters off Scooby Doo style in a panic and then whines. I am very concerned about this as it's totally out of character. She has no problem on the carpet upstairs and has no problem going for walks outside. Just the wood floors. So any advice would be awesome!
