Recently adopted Bengal cat started peeing on my roommate's stuff. What to do?

Hi, so we adopted Athena almost exactly a month ago, she is 1 year old and already house trained. When we got her everything was fine, she started peeing and pooping in the litter box automatically.
(She only once pooped on the couch once but I'm pretty sure it's because her litter was in a place where people make lots of noise and she didn't want to go there, we moved her litter box since).

Me and my girlfriend are in good terms with Athena, she's not scared of us, although she's a little nervous, she comes to cuddle with us at night and everything.
Though, she doesn't have the same relationship with our roommate. Since day 1, she's been scared of him and he has a dog with his GF that he occasionally brings home. We tried to make them socialize but it didn't really work out. Athena is too timid and hides.

Only recently, Athena peed on my roommates bed and coat within a 3 days interval.

My suspicions are that she smells the dog and tries to mark her territory or that she doesn't like my roommate so she pees on his stuff.

What could i do to solve this problem? I'm pretty sure that it's a behavioral thing because she's scared of my roommate and his dog. Should we try to make my roommate, the dog and her socialize, as in put them in a room together and let them get comfy together?
When the cat peed on my roommate's bed he then let his door shut but then she peed on his coat that was in the living room.

The dog is a puppy and when he sees her he rushes to her and she hides cause she's scared. Also, when my roommate is gone, she stays in our bedroom and never tries to interact with him.
Otherwise she's very clean and always pees in her litter box.
