Hello! Last night I took a stray cat into the spare bedroom in my apartment for about 45 minutes. I took him to the vet and he tested negative for FPV and FIV, and appears to be mostly healthy. The vet has still said to quarantine him away from all cats for at least two weeks.
I have a cat at home who I am currently keeping out of the spare bedroom. Should I be worried about the possibility of getting her sick? I'm going to do my best to disinfect the space, but do you think that I should book a vet appointment for her as well just to be safe? She has had all of her vaccinations.
