Any tips for worming a wilful and uncooperative elderly cat?
So far we have tried:
Forcing tablets (gently). This works sometimes, and other times he spits them out and ends up with a frothy mouth. We do the rubbing neck thing, doesn't seem to work.
Ninja-feeding liquid with a syringe when he is lulled into a false sense of security. That one is very messy and I'm sure more of it ends up on him and us than inside him.
Hiding both tablets and liquid in food means that he won't eat it.
