I don't know how this happened. I ordered the cat food I used to before a temporary special diet, albeit a different flavor. I got a big bag of it that lasted 6 months. I got a new bag today and realized the kibble sizes were different. I have accidentally been feeding my cat dog food this whole time. The bags look exactly the same except for a little silhouette on the bottom. It doesn't even say dog on it except for in tiny text near the bottom of the bag and I just didn't notice. I'm in hysterics. I don't know how I didn't notice and now I'm worried that I've basically killed my cat. She seems okay, her energy levels have been low but she's about to be 11 and just assumed her age was starting to impact her. I have an appointment for her to get blood work done in a week and a half. For now I don't know what to do. I'm so ashamed that I could be so careless and have potentially hurt the most important thing in my life.
