So the title mostly says it all, my sister has a female, un-fixed cat (2.5 y.o.), and I have a male, un-fixed cat (3 y.o.). My cat has not yet started spraying, and I'm not sure if he will at this point (my vet told me he would start spraying by a few months old if I didn't fix him) Now, I'm all for cute kittens from our cats, but I'm worried that after breeding our cats, will my cat start spraying? My vet told me my cat definitely would start spraying if I bred him... but obviously my vet had been wrong before, so I'm wondering what the possibility of breeding and not spraying is... If anyone else has been in a similar situation, please let me know!
A bit more context: I chose to not get my cat fixed because other family members have had multiple male cats, un-fixed and were fine, no spraying or anything. But a few other family members I've had DID fix their males, and those males then started to have horrible behavioral problems.
