I recently introduced two new cats (G and S, both ~6 months old) to my home, and while I figured my two previous cats (E and L, both +16 years old) would need some time to adjust, I didn't think their reaction would be so negative. E cannot and will not be in the same room as G or S, neither will L, but E is aggressive and while she avoids fights, she hisses nonstop. I figure they may never be friends but I'd like to get them in the same room together, especially since all of them like to be in the room with humans in it. Does anyone have any tips for helping me get E to get more used to these cats and calm down, especially tips that don't require me to remove any of the cats from the house?
