So, TLDR; I accidentally blocked access to my cat's litterbox and he went on a doormat. My girlfriend says we have to throw out the doormat because he will smell his scent and think it's okay to poop there.
What do you think, r/Pets? Everything I look up kinda says she's right, but I don't believe it.
