Going to the vet tomorrow but seeking advice in the meantime.
My dog is a 4 month old great dane. He is very happy and playful usually. He has sleeping a lot today and I hear him making those high pitch whimpers, I think he may be in some sort of discomfort or pain. I also notice he seems weaker than usual. He doesnt climb up on the bed alone anymore, he is slow to climb the steps, and he isnt jumping like usual. I think there is something wrong with his back legs. I also noticed his appetite and water intake have been less than usual. Kinda nervous, trying to figure out what could be wrong.
He is on the same diet for ahwile. Blue dog food with a spoonful of their puppy wet food can and I also add some cooked ground beef, Turkey, rice, oats and vegetable mix. Only thing that had changed recently is we tried a new dental stick which now we stopped since he is not himself and 4 days ago he snuck into some cat food. I checked his body for ticks and everything looks clear.
