Has anyone ever made/ seen/ frankensteined a cat tree on top of a dog crate?
We recently got a pretty large puppy (black lab and great dane) and are still working on introductions with the cat that don't involve running and chasing and loud complaints from both parties. We bought a giant crate for the dog, but I'm now looking to see what the benefits/ repercussions would be on placing a cat tree on top of the crate? If one giant pet thing is going to take up real estate already... I'd love to use it for both!
Does this violate the sanctity of the crate for the dog? Will the dog potentially launch the cat and/or might they see it as a neutral base for both?
Thoughts? Opinions? Examples? TIA!
