I just got two kittens last week and they have been using Yesterday's News litter since they had a spay/neuter surgery two weeks ago. Just now my male cat peed inside of my laundry bin. He was declared healthy at the vet last week and had not had any problems so far, so I think he is less than thrilled with the litter. Previously the foster was using clumping litter, but I immediately changed them to the newspaper kind after reading that the clumping is bad for a freshly neutered cat. Naturally, I want to get this sorted out ASAP, and change the litter to something a little easier to manage. I have been recommended Pretty Litter, and I see a lot of people recommending Dr. Elseys as well. Has anyone here used both? Or have a recommendation? I am new to cats, and want whatever is easiest to manage and keeps the smell contained.
