What do you guys like to feed your indoor cats??We mainly want to focus on our cats’ weight and hairball management. Here’s some info about them:
My cats Poppy and Pepper are both calicos, so they’re very prone to weight gain. They’re currently 5 years old and have missing teeth from abuse as kittens in their old home, so we soften their food. We used to feed them a mix of dry food and wet food, and then they decided they didn’t like wet food anymore. So lately they’ve been on just dry kibble. The past few months we have been feeding them partially Blue Buffalo Indoor Hairball & Weight Control (chicken flavour), and Purina One Smart Blend Indoor Hairball & Weight (turkey flavour). Now, being the picky girls they are, they have decided they no longer like chicken! But, when they’re fed just turkey they gain a lot of weight.
We will try to introduce wet food back into their diet. Any recommendations for what we can feed them though? Any ingredients to look out for or avoid? What do you find keeps your cat’s weight in control?
