I've seen a few posts lately aaking how to look after abandoned kittens.
The first rule is: don't touch the kitten unless you know for sure it's been abandoned. Quite often its mother will be somewhere nearby, maybe hunting, maybe visiting the neighbours, or just doing cat things. If the kitten is on its own (no litter mates) and you haven't seen the mother with it over a long period of time (4+ hours), there's a good chance its mother isn't coming back.
So now you've got a tiny mouth to feed (and that's just the start...). Hopefully you'll find this video on raising an abandoned kitten useful. There are a few good tips in it and in the text blurb on the YT post.
