I guess this is just a mini vent. I’ve never adopted a dog from a shelter before and have been looking into it. The problem is that due to covid I have to pick out the dog online first and send in an application. Then I have to set an appointment (which isn’t a big deal at all). My only issue is that I should be able to see which animal at the shelter is most compatible and can’t now, for some reason I have to pick one and stick with it which is harder to do. I find it strange I have to fill in an application for one animal instead of finding one that actually wants to go home and likes me, etc. which one is most compatible personality wise.
All in all, I know covid has resulted in some weird circumstances and I still have to follow it, but now I don’t know how to adopt a dog without being stuck with one I may not be compatible with, which is the most important.
