So on March 2nd my vet did a fecal exam and said my kitten had worms (I can’t remember what kind). I picked up the meds, gave first dose that Thursday when I got them, and second dose on March 18th. A day or two ago, I noticed he had a distended belly. I made an appointment immediately but the earliest they could get me in is tomorrow March 26th.
I know it’s due to the worms. My questions are: - Why did these not respond to two doses of treatment? - Now that he has this large stomach, will he need surgery since he may be unable to pass them?
I know these questions will be answered at the vet tomorrow but I’m so anxious about it. I just want him to be healthy!!
