So, I'm leaving at the beginning of May. I'm currently in the waiting process for the titers and the vet has been very helpful in setting up the necessary vaccination and paper work required. My biggest question is carrying the cats. Originally, my girlfriend and I were supposed to travel together and bring both the cats on with us, however, she has had to go early due to medical issues and now I'm going on my own with one cat on board with me and the other wherever they go. I have a boy and a girl cat both a little more than 2 years old. Currently, my plan is to have the cat that likes me more (the girl) up with me as she is lighter and responds to me better as the boy likes me but much prefers my girlfriend over me. I read online that getting carries before and leaving them in the house open and easily accessible can help them feel less stressed so I plan to purchase carriers and leave them in the house from as soon as I get the cases to when I fly. I am mostly here to ask for recommendations for what should I bring with me, what should be in their carriers, along with what carriers should I buy (size, weight all that) as I plan to fly Air Canada. Presently, the girl who I will bring on with me is about 5 kg and the boy is about 7 kg. I want to make this as comfortable as possible, I know this will be stupid stressful for them and it's stressing me out as well. Please help
