My cat looks like the stereotypical fuzzed up Halloween cat if my dog is even in his line of sight

Hello pet friends,

My family recently put down our old pitty, Josey, about 6 days ago which left us with our Great Dane, Django. Josey only tolerated one cat who is since long cat and as an effect we gated half of our house to separate our two cats and two dogs (Both cats have their own individual space and the dog is now free roaming with varied moments of getting along with the cats.) Django is sort of a rambunctious runt of the litter, but incredibly timid, nervous, and has lots of anxiety so we truly don't feel comfortable making him stay in the living room anymore as he consistently is still looking for our old gal who is no longer with us. The gate does stay closed when we are not home or at night when we go to sleep (which has been a struggle for him but we're working on it). He gets along somewhat with our older cat (named Bunny lol) but my cat who's about a year old (Keanu) HATES him. He is the embodiment of Halloween cat stickers when he sees Django, fluffs up and doubles in size, hisses/growls rarely bats at him but it has been a thing hes taken to.

I'm concerned this behavior is rubbing off on Bunny, but I just don't really know what to do to make it easier for them to tolerate each other. Keanu also has his own small mounted boxes that he loves in my moms room but the problem really arises when the gang's all in my room- so he has his own spot and Bunny is relatively comfortable with Django but keeps him at an emotional distance so far (i.e. Django will nap on my moms bed with Bunny already on it, will let him accidentally touch her, get close to her, etc. ). Losing our old baby dog has been very hard on us and we think it's honestly MUCH harder on Django so far. I understand that it will definitely take time for them to all get along, but is there anything we can do to make the transition easier? Keanu's anger to Django riles him up and exacerbates the problem so I've been trying to get in front of Keanu to calm him down while petting Django/rewarding good behavior from keanu when he doesn't growl when he sees him and vice versa with django. if anyone has had any experience with shifting dynamics with their pet bbys let me know, thank you :)
