I recently adopted a sixth month old kitten. She's very sweet, loves cuddles and follows me everywhere. However she has a few traits that concern me I was hoping to get some help with.
- Sometimes as I walk around and she follows she'll meow a lot and swipe at my feet, I assume for attention?
- She'll be super cute and rub her head against me and accept pets and purr then meow, nip, and swipe me away. Then two seconds later head rub again and be fine. Sometimes I'll just go to pet her and she'll nip and swipe. Not sure if it is from over stimulation or not.
- She just gets an attitude. She was exploring a new room to the house and I walked in to get her and she just hisses, and she's usually fine with me picking her up but sometimes she'll just freak out and throw her claws out.
Just seems she goes from 0 to 10 so quickly, what's with the attitude and how can I stop this? She's not scared her tails up and playful but then just snaps into an attitude then back to attention seeking so quickly.
