Hi all! I live in Brooklyn and have for several years now! I’ve been dog sitting for friends over the last few years, it’s great because I get a roommate break because I stay at their place while they are gone AND I get to hang out with a puppy, and they don’t have to put their pet in boarding and I can keep an eye on their place. Through doing this I’ve met and interacted with some other dog parents in my friends building and they recently asked if I’d dog sit for them too! I’m happy to do it, but they asked my Rate and tbh I have NO clue what to tell them. Any pet owners willing to give me some thoughts on what feels fair for full time/live-in pet sitting? All thoughts welcome!!
