I love pets, and have been sad without my pets since I went off to school. My school recently changed it’s rules so that we could have small pets on campus (fish, spiders, etc) and I want to take advantage. I live on the other side of the country as my school so I can’t just drive home with it on breaks. What is a small fairly low maintenance pet that can survive on it’s own for a few weeks if I give it some extra food before I go or something? (I was thinking maybe a lobster or the right kind of crab) Reddit, what is your best suggestion?
