For the last year there's been a stray cat around. Lost from home or dumped. He was well fed when first appeared and took over a small secondary house yard. I've been feeding it, and since last christmas it'll come to the main house and meow and meow. If Im out in the fields it will walk up and meow. It cant be wanting food all the time. Seems like attention.
Sometimes it will sit in the garden and meow if I go out, and after petting it, I walk back to the door to get food, and it runs to the door, facing it, and even tries to walk in. But the dogs are there, and its terrified naturally.
Does it actually want to be in the house or is it just looking around? Or is it following for food?
