As the title says, my 3 month old kitten has begun clawing the couch. Currently I am using a spray bottle to discourage this behavior. He does it all the time and most of the time I’m able to just make a ‘psst’ noise and he looks at me, stops, and runs off to only come back a few minutes later to do it again. I have scratch posts for him. Multiple kinds, multiple locations because this was a concern of mine when getting a cat. He’s still very young and so I know I can break him of this habit before it becomes an issue.
