Me and my roommate each have a cat, mine is 2 years old and hers is 8 months. They get along fine, but they are both constantly trying to get into each other's food bowls, even when they have food! It's gotten to the point where my cat has started to rip into my roommates bag of food. Any advice on how we can keep them out of each other's room, while still giving them both the freedom of the apartment so they can play together? (Keep in mind we are both college students with little money to spare) thanks!
