My cat won’t stop itching or biting herself, it’s gotten to the point where she’s pulling out her hair on her legs. She also has a swollen bottom lip and is starting to get red skin/ irritation on her chin. I’ve googled everything I can since this first developed, I’ve switched to metal food bowls, I now use all natural food & litter, I got her lots of toys in case it was due to boredom or anxiety, I even switched my fabric softener. We had fleas months ago and I thought this might be a leftover compulsion from that, but the swelled lip makes me think it must be something more. There are so many possible allergens and causes I’m not sure how much a vet could tell me. I comb her and see no fleas, dirt, mites, etc, just dandruff from dry skin. She’s also started tracking her litter everywhere, I find litter all over the couch and in the bed. Has anyone had a similar experience? Please help my fur baby!
