So, I moved into my boyfriend's place a month ago, and the day I moved in we stopped at his Pet Smart so I could get litter for my cat. When going in I love looking at the animals they have, and one stands out to me, as well as breaks my heart every time I see them.
A yellow canary all by their lonesome. No partners in the glass cage, and no neighbors. The other birds are on the other side of the aisle facing the main walk path, while this poor birdy is alone. It always looks so surprised when we visit it. And they've always been there alone as we come at least 2 times a week.
I feel so bad that I want to adopt them. I have had birds before, many. And I wanted a bird again for a while . I wish they'd at least put another bird in the cage next to them.
