I am trying to get my 1 yr old cat used to wearing a harness so that I can start taking him on walks as he likes to bolt from my front door and smell the bushes so I figured I'd start walking him to calm that urge. The problem is I am not home in the mornings and such and I want to leave him with it on while I'm gone but he has a habit of flopping over and just kinda laying there with it on and meowing a lot. So I'm wondering if it would be fine to leave it on him while I'm gone or should I only do it while I'm home?
