So like the title says got a border collie puppy today, he’s about 3 months old and our current dog is a Shepard mix and she’s 4.
We get home and introduce them and Rikku(older) is immediately just sort of trying to get away from Remy(pup) wants absolutely nothing to do with him and he’s kinda just following her around.
She’s snapped at Remy twice now, just warnings tho, but it’s really really shaken him up. She won’t come at him or even engage him the aggression only happens when he gets too close or makes eye contact?(not sure about that one)
So now he won’t really leave the kitchen area where his crate is. I really really want them to get along but Rikku has had this weird aggression with other dogs too, but it’s only ever when they’re in our apartment, off leash. Outside she’s great, no aggression or weirdness whatsoever.
