My cat is indoor/outdoor and has never used a litter box. He either asks to be let out or uses the dog door to go into the woods. He needs a procedure done and due to his old age the vet wants to do lab work to make sure his kidneys can handle the anesthesia. Well, they’ll need a stool sample and I haven’t the slightest on how to get it. He’s locked in my bathroom rn with food, water and a litter box. It’s a full on standoff as he’s just peeing on the floor (as he does when his routine is upset). It’s been 12 hrs and he just won’t go.
