My cats days are numbered, he went into heart failure a few weeks ago, and we rushed him to the pet hospital. He managed to recover but is now living off heart medication and the vet said he’s got about a year left.
This is MY cat. He loves me to no end, and I’ve grown from a little boy to a man with him. But I know he doesn’t have too much time left. His vet visits are semi frequent, and every time he is terrified. Ears tucked, big pupils, not angry, but as if he’s being abused. One of these vet visits will be his last, and I want him to feel loved in his last moments, not terrorized. Ideas?
