I recently rescued my childhood dog Teddy from my awful father. He's nearly 13 and is learning new commands super fast!
I was still living with my father and the doggo when I got my therapy cat Chess. Chess was never afraid of Teddy, in fact Teddy was more freaked out by Chess! They were never antagonistic to one another before.
Its been about 4 years since they last interacted prior to me getting Teddy back. Back then, Teddy had all his fur, but due to horrible flea infestations from the mistreatment he suffered from my father, he has some baldness on his back half. Its growing back pretty fast, but I think Chess finds it weird, or he's just being an ass, because on one hand he's fine to show Teddy his belly and nap with him, but any time he gets the chance he bites Teddy's bald back/butt area. Naturally Teddy freaks out, jumps up, and barks at Chess, and I end up having to tell both of them off. Is this normal?
