I have two cats and recently one of them has started having kidney and pancreas issues.
When the vet asked if I had insurance I pulled up the most recent e-mail from the insurance company, titled "Important Policy Information is enclosed", and opened the attachment that I thought was my policy, only to find it was a document saying that payment hadn't been received so my policy had ended. I felt terrible. I'd seen that subject line and just assumed it was the policy renewing and never checked.
I spoke to the insurance company and they said that since the original policy ran out in May, it was too late to pay it and continue that policy, which I can understand.
I just wondered if there is anything that can help with vet bills. Maybe a charity or low interest loan group. I'm in the UK.
If anyone can help point me in the right direction, it'd be massively appreciated by Troy and me.
