(This is kinda a confession) Nearly every day for six years, I’ve always put a little tiny bit of roast beef, hamburger or a treat under his meal. Not enough to make him sick or anything, just enough so he can smell it. It works every time, he eats every bite. But when my family tries to feed him, he refuses. Won’t touch it until there’s that little treat at the bottom and he knows I always put it there. They never have tried that I guess. My family just thinks he prefers me over them and it may be too late to tell them my trick. It’s our happy secret.
