Persistent ringworms

Hi yall.. Dunno if this the right place to post..

Anyway I got my cat treated for ringworm this summer.. The vet shaved all her hair (persian).. Gave oral and tropical cream along with shampoo (medicated) but she's itching alot again.. So I noticed dry scaly round patches on her hair again.. Scratched some away but she won't let me touch or brush her.. I do brush her often.. Idky this is so persistent but any opinions? Also I don't want her hairs shaved again as it's winters n her hairs haven't even grown back yet!

So anyone know any way to treat ringworms without shaving?also how come they return after super long treatment? Weird

And Thanks in advance if u reply.
