Possible abandoned kitten in sub floor, move or not to move?

This maybe the wrong sub, I live in north florida, and it has gotten a bit cold, it seems that a cat has moved under my house and has one kitten (at least it is the only one I can find) and moved into my sub floor (not the ground but in the insulation under the main floor of the mobile home) I found it under the floor of my water heater where the cat seems to have made its home in the insulation. The kitten has been meowing for at least a few hours. Is about 4-5 inches long and can move a bit. I have not seen the mother cat with the kitten, but have a good idea that it is around (last seen yesterday) I see it though one of the holes left over from the new water heater installs, I tried to get some pictures, but it moves around when ever I am near.

I am currently in a cast form a recent surgery so going under the house at night is not a great idea, I am getting someone to help me Tuesday morning when it gets light out. Should I move the kitten? I put some food (puppy chow) and fresh water out on the porch for the mother cat. I cant really leave it in the sub floor, since it will tear up my insulation and may end up damaging one some electrically wiring (coming to the water heater)

What I want to do, is pull it out of the sub floor, close up the hole the mother cat has made, and place it on the back porch of the mother cat to find near the food that has been eaten. Is this a bad Idea?

I have seen what I think is the mother cat around, but not with the kitten, and I have checked several times today.
