My dog Apollo is a German Shepherd/Husky mix, and he's about 8 to 10 years old (we rescued so we're not particularly sure on his exact age) and as of recently he's been having frequent accidents in the house and he's been losing his interest in food.
I'm really worried about his accidents. He's been drinking a lot more water than usual, and will even lay by his water bowl if its not filled. When he is having these accidents, it doesn't really seem like he knows he's having an accident while he's peeing on the floor.
Now, Apollo loves food, and he's a pretty chunky dog (i mention this because i worry it may contribute to what's happening with him) and he only seems interested in food when i mix in any sort of canned dog food with his dry food.
If anyone knows what might be wrong, or if i explained any of this in a way thats confusing, please help me out here and try to give me some answers.
