I've already made a vet appointment, but I wanted some thoughts on this? my cat threw up a hairball and it had little dark specks in it like flea dirt. she does not have fleas and is strictly indoors. i know for humans that means blood, does it mean the same for cats?
- 17 year old cat
- 2 or 3 cans of hill's science diet per day (sometimes she wants more), free feed kibble (blue wilderness + cat treats from same brand) (4.8lbs despite this vet says she's fine just small and free feeding is okay. he wants to see her gain some weight) wheatgrass on occasion
- slight heart murmur that we've been watching. also dental disease that we treat with clavamox + brushing her teeth. last check up was less than 6 months ago
-she had an issue a couple weeks ago where she kept swallowing. last week she decided she didn't want to eat her kibble anymore and thats why i mainly feed her wet food now.
-eating and drinking fine
also random q, what is your favourite brand of wet cat food? i notice blue wilderness' wet food tends to make her throw up. i don't know if hill's is the best for her
