Took in a stray cat, turns out she has FLEAS. Need advice

Hello! My boyfriend and I found a stray cat on the street, lured her in with some yummy bacon, then took her back to our apartment and immediately bathed her with Dawn soap. Kept her in the bathroom overnight to get used to her surroundings. Next morning, we let her roam around the whole apartment before we take her to the vet. Lo and behold, once we get there, we see a little flea crawling along her belly, along with two little flea poops. I am a clean freak so I obviously freeeaakkedd out. Took her afterwards straight to the groomers for a flea bath, but now I have her camping out at a friend’s place because I gotta deflea the apartment. So a couple of qs I need help on:

Since it was a pretty minor case of the fleas on the cat, and she was really only in the apartment for less than 12 hrs before we took her to the vet, how extensive to do I need to be with deepcleaning the house? I’ve bought a spray (Wondercide if you know it) that I’ve been dousing the apartment with every couple of hours or so, followed by extensive vacuuming.

At the vet, they gave her a topical flea treatment, but then I took her to the groomers for a defleaing bath which basically washed off the flea treatment. Would it be bad to give her another treatment?? I don’t want to overdo it.

How do I stop freaking out?!?!? I’m so stressed about fleas that I’m literally hallucinating them jumping around my face even though I have yet to see a single flea in the apartment/both me and my boyfriend have no flea bites.

Please help: I love this dear cat and want to save it but we’ve never dealt with fleas before and we’re way over our heads.
