Hello, we have two girl cats that are about six months old. They are half sisters that we adopted from a family friend. They have basically been together since birth with little to no problems between each other. Yesterday my wife's friend brought her new kitten to our apartment to show us. The cats were not a fan of it so we placed them in a different room. However after the kitten was removed from the apartment they continue to hiss and growl at each other. We separated them overnight hoping they would go to normal but they continue to growl at each other whenever they see each other. We're not sure if we need to reintroduce them as new cats or what. They have always gotten along so well and used to go out of their way to comfort each other so this is completely new and out of character. They seem like different cats. Any help or advice would be great.
