I have 2 female cats, they’re sisters 1 and a half years old. They’ve always gotten along, they’ll play fight; sometimes one wants to play and one doesn’t but rarely. This morning one cat, Lotus seemed to just not want to be around the other, Murphy. Lotus kept hissing and growling at Murphy and just moving away from her, but for some reason Murphy was insistent in following her and sitting close to wherever Lotus sat. They weren’t fighting at all though, no swatting or pouncing, and it was only Lotus hissing and growling. It was very strange and went on for a while, I ended up distracting Murphy to get her to stop following Lotus everywhere. Can someone explain what this was?
