I have a small 23 lbs Jack Russell Terrier Chihuahua. I’ve had him in my care for six months and he usually sleeps on my bed.
Although, in regards to lounging around the house he doesn’t really have a bed to sleep in, he just jumps up on the couch which isn’t super comfortable for sleeping either.
He is also older in age and I would like to get him a really nice, comfortable bed to sleep in during the day.
When I look at the dog beds at Pet Smart and Petco, they just are not that great.
I am looking for an orthopedic, comfortable, water proof, durable bed, not a cheap flimsy piece of foam and fabric. I am also willing to spend a few extra dollars to make the right decision.
Some of the best dog beds I have found that fit my pet’s needs are; the mattress firm, pet fusion, Ultimate Dog Bed with Orthopedic Memory Foam, and the Dazy Dog Luxury Memory Foam Dog Bed.
Both of these bed I have found seem to fit my pets needs in regards to comfort, and durability. However, when researching dog beds I really put a lot of time into it because I know this will be my dog’s bed he will have for quite and while and if its not comfortable, thats a problem.
In fact, a lot of the dog beds I have seen I wouldn’t want my dog sleeping on all the time because they just seem so uncomfortable without some sort of mattress support. Which is why I have plenty if room for my dog to sleep in the corner of my memory foam bed at night. But during the day for around the house I do need to purchase a dog bed.
