I sometimes ship on ebay and the plastic pull tab from the poly envelops....my cat actually ate the whole tab.
I rushed him to he vet clinic where they tried to make him puke. He did no puke it up.
The vet gave me two options, wait for it to pass or go get an endoscopy which costs $3k.
I repeatly asked the vet what I should do and he said each time "it's up to you". Okay why am I here then?
Anyway. The incident happened Wednesday. My cat has not experienced any symptoms the vet said to watch for. He eats, drinks, plays pees and has pooped twice since Wednesday.
I haven't seen the ribbon pass yet. I touch him tummy from time to time to make sure he's not in pain. The first sign of anything wrong he will be rushed to the er prompt.
Has anyone experience anything like this? Vet said 50/50 change he passes it. I've had friends who their cats have eaten ribbon and sting and they pass it.
I want to note he's eaten a plastic feather before off a toy, maybe 6" long and he was totally okay.
