Hi All! We just adopted a 6 month old Jindo mix puppy and she's truly the best. She's been itchy since the day she's arrived (to the point where she has some bald spots and scabs around her body) and we're trying to figure out what the issue is. We're trying sprays, JAX n daisy shampoo, giving her baby Benadryl, and feeding her Purina pro plan salmon kibble with rice in the meantime.
We went to see a vet but she was not helpful so we would love if anyone could recommend any great vets in the NYC area that are experienced in this field and could help us find the root of the issue! Also if you have any recommendations of what we can try in the meantime or specific tests/questions we can ask the vet that would also be helpful as well :)
We just want our pup to be happy and it breaks our heart that we can't give her a permanent solution right now.
