Why does my cat watch me shower?

Hello,

Just wondering why my cat sits on my counter and watches me shower religiously. Is she doing it because it’s warmer in the bathroom while I’m showering or is there some sort of protection thing going on? She does many strange things so I’m just trying to figure her out.
